There is nothing like a relaxing road trip...even a short one...around curvy roads along waterfront or mountain roads. It's the perfect way enjoy a new destination, or share your hometown with out-of-town family and friends. The Kitsap Peninsula has lots of roads to enjoy shorelines, beaches, mountain and farm views. In this section are some ideas to get you started.

Edmonds/Kingston Ferry Itinerary
The Peninsula's best entry point for those north of the Seattle-Tacoma corridor, Kingston is a 1/2 ferry hour ride from Edmonds. The ferry from Edmonds takes travelers from the North Seattle/Everett side of the sound to the northern tip of the Kitsap Peninsula. Travelers can also leave their car in Edmonds near the dock and walk aboard.
