Rainbow on the Hood Canal near Belfair State Park
There are amazing scenic views of the Olympic Mountains to the west and Mt. Rainier to the east.

You'll find views of the open seas in Hansville and Point-No-Point, enjoy the wide expense of the sun setting on the majestic Hood Canal at parks along the shoreline from Port Gamble to Seabeck and down south in Union. A drive through Silverdale and Central Valley Road provides views of country farms and small fishing villages where you can stop and enjoy a nice picnic or lunch at one of the local cafes.

Our local state, county and city parks also offer wonderful views and the comforts of picnic tables, play areas and public restrooms. Many offer public beach access for exploring the the 300 miles of shoreline on the Kitsap Peninsula..the Natural Side of the Puget Sound.
