, is the largest city on the Kitsap Peninsula is surrounded by miles of shoreline and and waterfront and pet friendly parks perfect for picnics and relaxing strolls. You can arrive aboard the WA State Ferry from Seattle or, from the south via the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, and from the north the Hood Canal Bridge or Kingston and Bainbridge Island ferries.

The Kitsap Conference Center is also located in Bremerton and is the center of the and expansive Harborside District filled with stunning fountains, waterfront boardwalk, restaurants, art galleries, and shops. The Bremerton Harborside Marina is accessible to visitors and weekday and weekend boaters.

Bremerton has several museums, many within walking distance of the ferries. Including the Kitsap Historical Museum, the Puget Sound Naval Museum and Memorial Fountain Park, Valentinetti Children's Puppet Museum, historic ship USS Turner Joy and the famous Amy Burnett Pyrex Museum.

The city's parks are a source of community pride, offering visitors excellent picnic grounds, ball fields and one of the nation's premier golf courses, the challenging 36-hole Gold Mountain Golf Course.
